In general, Denso VEA ECUs are mounted with one of two kinds of MCU: RENESAS or FREESCALE. The only way to know which one it is is by opening the ECU.

The Identification of the ECU with AutoTuner will work in both cases, but reading is not possible yet on FREESCALE versions.
