How can AutoTuner work without any subscription?

AutoTuner stands out from the others for many reasons. One of the major benefits can be seen as double-edged: FREE updates.

When AutoTuner was developed, we always considered that a subscription was binding for multiple reasons:

  • Cost (especially if you make few vehicles in the year);

  • Complexity: in some cases, the tools can't be used without paying subs, in other cases only partial use is allowed;

  • Timing: we often forget to renew then whenever you need the tool you have to make payment and wait for an activation.

No one has ever been able to explain the utility of a subscription. When you buy a phone, or an OS license, at no time are the updates to be paid for. This is provided by the brand for free in order to offer the best possible customer experience. They are counting on a major change (switch to a new model or version) to ensure future income.

A subscription has never been a guarantee for active development.

For 5 years now we have proven to be very active in research and development by offering some of the most exclusive releases without any subscription. According to our vision, in the absence of a subscription, it is the releases that encourage tuners to buy our products. This pushes us to always provide maximum effort and in fact be on top of the game when it comes to R&D.

One last item is the support. We often hear that the absence of subscription means a lower technical support quality. This could make sense but we ensure everyday that our support team has access to all necessary means in order to offer the best service possible.

AutoTuner now offers technical support from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CET. The team offers several natively spoken languages including French / English / German / Italian / Spanish / Dutch / Portuguese.
