Files formats (master, slave and backup)
Master file The master file can be freely modified, it is not encrypted. It contains all the data constituting the engine mapping. Slave file The slave file cannot be freely modified. It can only be processed by the master to which the slave tool is linked. The slave file is a file in .zip format that contains the same information as the backup file but also the data constituting the engine mapping. The information it contains is encrypted and intended to be modified by a master.
Bosch ECUs password reading
Some Bosch ECUs are protected by a password. When you perform a read, Autotuner automatically takes care of reading the password and then reads the data from the ECU. For Bosch ECUs with password, it is not necessary to proceed in two steps, Autotuner takes care of everything.
Tool serial number (ID)
To find the ID of your tool: start the software, click on "Help" and then "About". The serial number is here:
Manually update vehicles list
The list of vehicles is automatically updated each time the application is started. Nevertheless, in order to manually update the list of the compatible vehicles, you can click on the "menu" button and then "update ecu list".

Meaning of the LEDs
Power (white) It indicates the presence of 12V output. When flashing, it means that the ECU is powered. Be extremely careful when the ECU is powered because there is a risk of short circuit with a metal object. Status (blue) It flashes to indicate that the interface is working properly. If it does not flash, it is recommended to unplug and restart the interface. USB activity (orange) It flashes when data is transferred via USB.
How-to decrypt slave files
If you have master tool and there are slave tools linked to your master, you may have to encrypt and decrypt files. There are 3 solutions : 1. When you have selected a vehicle, the interface displays the operations window.
